It does not matter whether your cargo is less than container load or full container, Unitrans — PRA will be able to provide you with requested service regardless of your cargo location and destination.
We could deliver an empty container to your pick-up location anywhere in the continental USA, but also have two convenient warehouse locations in New York and New Jersey where you could consolidate your container for free and have it loaded by our skilled warehouse employees, when it is ready to be shipped.
We will work with any commodity, from vehicles to electronics, from auto parts to personal effects with same enthusiasm and knowledge.
For the past several years, shipping of vehicles in containers has become our main focus, so, consequently, we have developed a unique way of packing vehicles in containers, which minimizes the possibility of damage during transshipment and unloading at destination port.
Licensed and fully bonded by FMC, Unitrans — PRA has service contracts with major steam ship lines and stable guarantee of space even when it is limited.

From the U.S.A. to many overseas destinations service is available via modern roll on roll off vessels (Ro/Ro).These special ships allow the vehicle to be driven on and off.
For non-motorized vehicles such as boats on trailers they can be towed on and off the ship. These ships have special decks that are enclosed and are much the same as a regular multi story parking garage, except in this case they are the length and width of the ship and are a little like an aircraft carriers decks. Not all destinations of the world are served by these special Ro/Ro vessels therefore call us to insure destinations availability.

Shipping of boat overseas could be a complicated enough matter. The cheapest way to do it is by packing a boat into an ocean container. But if you think that your boat is too large to fit inside a container, you are probably right. But then again, maybe not entirely.
We, at Unitrans-PRA, have created a one of its kind approach to boat shipping in containers by distinguishing three different loading techniques, involving turning of a boat inside of container and even container itself. Other very popular options will be flat rack container and of course, for entirely larger boats, it’s Roll On — Roll Off option. Our prices are very competitive and given in a well-timed manner.
